Welcome

Why blog? Well I am entering a world of the slight unknown, and a world that many feel you give up control to enter. For me, to write down my thoughts and experiences hands most of the control back to me. I guess blogging is more for me than others, but if you stumble across this blog, and enjoy it, then even better.

Let me start at the beginning. It is so hard to read about the world of prostitution as you only ever tend to see the extremes. You ever have the money filled, exotic world of the High Class Escort, or the seedy, drug addicted world of the crack whore. I was looking for some middle ground. The world I am/ was looking to enter was the fairly hidden world of the massage parlour aka brothel.

I am not addicted to, or even taken, drugs. Apart from the odd joint, I hate the things. I also do not have a beast of a boyfriend that is forcing me to sell my body, and I am not a sex obsessed woman hoping to make cash for her "hobby".

Whilst I feel I am pretty intelligent, I left school without any formal qualifications. I was just too much the rebel to study. Alas this has meant I have gone from one low paid menial job to another. Something had to break the cycle. I decided last summer that I would go back to school and actually study to improve myself. I have been accepted of an Open University course to start later this year.

The trouble with low paid work, my last job was in a hotel, is that you have to work long hours just to make enough money to live on. These long hours will be a bitch when I am studying, making it nearly impossible to commit to the course.

I looked at all possibilities, but I kept coming back to prostitution. I can work 2 or 3 days, and earn a fairly decent living. No, not a champagne lifestyle like some Belle De Jour, but enough to keep a roof over my head, and allow me plenty of time to study.

My first few blogs, will all be today and then I hope to chronicle the experiences on at least a weekly basis.
